How do I become a Member?
In order to become a member at Washington United Methodist Church, you will need to meet with the pastor and attend a Membership Class. WUMC welcomes everyone to join, and asks for you to prayerfully decide if this is the church for you. The class is designed to help you get an understanding of the mission God has called the Washington United Methodist Church to pursue as a church. By deciding to join, you are saying you want to take an active role in pursuing that mission.
Am I required to join WUMC?
Membership is not mandatory. You can be involved – attend weekend services, volunteer, join a small group – without being a member of WUMC.
If you want to go deeper, lead, fully understand what you are a part of – then becoming a member is worth pursuing.
How do I get involved at WUMC?
Becoming a volunteer at WUMC is rewarding. We recognize that God has given everyone different gifts and we can work with you to find a way to express your unique talents.
