Adult Bible Study

Come join WUMC’s Adult Bible Study at 9:00 a.m. every Sunday!

We are currently studying the book of Acts by reading verse by verse what God’s word says and then discussing what we feel God has laid on our hearts. There is alot of great interaction and fellowship.

We enjoy being mentors for each other. It’s a very special class of all ages!

Journey Groups

What is a Journey Group?

A Journey Group is a small group of adults who journey with one another through life. In a Journey Group, you will find the support needed to grow in your walk with Christ. You will gain opportunities to make lifelong friends as you meet and get to know each other.

How often do Journey Groups meet?

Journey Groups meet however often the individual group feels it is necessary. Some may meet every week; while some meet once a month. To have a successful Journey Group it is generally required the groups meet at least once a month for 2-3 hours.

Where do Journey Groups meet?

This is also up to the individual members. Some groups like to rotate locations within members homes, while other groups choose one host home. Some groups prefer to meet at a restaurant, and some prefer to meet at the church.

What do Journey Groups study?

As well as making friends and going through life together, Journey Groups typically study life application questions as related to the Bible. Since every Journey Group is made up of different individuals, it is expected that every group will have different life questions they would like to explore.

Are my children welcome at my Journey Group?

Absolutely! Each Journey Group is in charge of looking after their children. Your group can come up with a practical plan together. The vision is for the entire family to find community. While the adults are connecting together, your children can be making friends, too! Every group has access to a childcare covenant to ensure the safety of our children.
