The Christian Education Team at Washington United Methodist Church believes that Parents are the first, and most important educators in a child’s life. We are here to partner with you on that journey. We welcome you to direct any comments or concerns you may have to our Youth Director.
Summer is a time when families are away on vacations, busy with sports or camp, or just happen to get out of a routine. We encourage you to stay in your regular Sunday routine, because children thrive when they know what to expect! Our Sunday School does take a break during the summer, however, we are now offering Children’s Church (a mini Sunday school lesson) during the 9:00 Worship hour, and we offer lesson plans and memory verses on the grade level links, under “Parents”. Check back often for updates and information!
Sunday School begins again on September 11, 2011 with Rally Day.
Preschool through 5th Grade classes are from 9:00 until 10:00. Cherub Choir practices from 9:45 until 10am. Our goal is to have 100 students in Sunday School that day! We’ll have a mini carnival with games and treats for all students in the Church Courtyard after Sunday School is over! Come and see how we make Sunday School COOL!
